The Ambassador of Albania in Vienna, Fate Velaj, has announced that over 219 thousand visitors have seen “The Knight of Babunja” in less than 3 months. Velaj writes that this is amazing news, while emphasizing that this is the fruit of persistent work by the Albanian Embassy in the Austrian capital.
“ Do you remember the magnificent exhibition that the Embassy of Albania, in collaboration with the Academy of Sciences in Tirana and the Natural History Museum in Vienna, organized on May 15?
The museum director just told us the number of visitors who have seen the "Babunja Horsewoman", the most amazing Albanian archaeological find of recent years: 219,397 visitors in just 3 months!
This is the fruit of the persistent work of the Embassy, which did not tire in the face of challenges, difficulties and endless communications. It was the deep conviction that, through this presentation of our archaeological and historical values, we will show the world that we, Albanians, come from far away.
