A sad news has arrived recently when it was discovered that the famous painter Leon Çika has passed away at the age of 70 after a heart attack.
It is known that he suffered from heart problems, but also diabetes.
We remember that Çika has been active in terms of artistic life, while recently he worked and shared the same studio with the painter Adrian Devolli.
Leon Çika was born in 1954. In 1976, he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Tirana, majoring in graphic design.
The first time Çika was introduced to photography was after completing his studies, when he was appointed as a set painter at the Palace of Culture in Gramsh.
After the 90s, he worked as a photography lecturer at the Academy of Arts, as a reporter and as a producer for several television and news agencies.
