The concrete pump truck collided with a vehicle, broke through the protective barriers and fell on the Tirana-Elbasan axis.
Tirana Police has officially reacted to the serious accident that occurred this Wednesday afternoon near the TEG roundabout, where one person lost his life and two others were injured.
According to preliminary information, at around 16:20, a concrete pump truck collided with a vehicle at the TEG roundabout. As a result of the collision, the truck broke through the protective metal barriers and fell from the upper part of the roundabout to the lower level of the Tirana-Elbasan road axis, in the direction of Elbasan.
As a result of the accident, one of the people traveling in the truck died at the scene, while the other person was transported to the hospital in serious condition.
Police say the two people in the truck have not yet been identified, and work is underway to determine whether the victim was the driver of the heavy-duty vehicle or a passenger, as one of them is hospitalized.
Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle, a citizen with the initials RN, about 28 years old, was also injured. He was transported to the hospital and, according to the police, is out of danger.
Police services and the investigation team are at the scene, carrying out actions to fully clarify the circumstances and causes that led to this tragic accident.

The two people who were in the truck (concrete pump) are still unidentified and work is underway to determine whether the person who died at the scene was the truck driver or the person who is in the hospital.
Meanwhile, the driver of the other vehicle, citizen RN, about 28 years old, has been taken to hospital and is out of danger.
