Security expert Fatjon Softa spoke about the crime rate in the Kamza area, after the murder that occurred yesterday.
Softa emphasized that Kamza is ranked among the areas with an average to high crime rate. Also, due to the location of the area, which is the gateway to the North and close to the airport, it also serves as a shelter for high-risk individuals.
"The Kamza incident should not be treated as an isolated event, but raises the alarm about a phenomenon, that various conflicts end with weapons and the presence of weapons continues to be a concern. Crime today has also become urban crime. Kamza in relation to Tirana has a difference in terms of the level of criminality. The classification of the crime level is from high average, Tirana has low to medium. Many events have occurred in Kamza, the presence of criminal groups in the area. Kamza has a favorable position, it is the northern gateway, it is close to Rinas Airport. Kamza, Fushë Kruja, are areas where there are shelters for people with a high level of risk.
