From the Parliament, the protesters have moved and blocked vehicle traffic on the bridge near Elbasan Street.
Currently, no vehicle can pass towards "Jeanne D'Arc" Boulevard, while the police have begun intervention to unblock the road axis.
The officers are trying to move the protesters to enable the movement of vehicles, while traffic in the segment from Brryli towards the center of Tirana has become significantly heavier.
Citizens declare that they will not clear the road until they are allowed to pass to Parliament. During the protest, they have also called on drivers to turn off their car engines as a sign of support.
The police continue their efforts to normalize the situation and restore traffic on this road segment, while the protesters remain determined in their demand to approach the Parliament.
Protesters have also thrown eggs and tomatoes at the police, while in the coming minutes, MPs are expected to arrive and will participate in the plenary session in the Parliament at 10:00.
