IT expert Gent Progni has made a public denunciation, stating that he was threatened with his life during today's protest near the Parliament.
According to Progni, the incident occurred while he was filming several civilians near the Toptani area. He says one of them approached him, asked him to stop filming, and then pulled out a knife, attempting to stab him.
Progni said he suspects the person in question was a plainclothes police officer, adding that he also has photographs of him. He warned that he will report the case to both the Prosecutor's Office and the Police Supervision Agency (AMP).
"I want to file a public report, I was threatened with my life today by a civilian person who I have a photo of. He pulled out a knife and tried to hit me. I strongly believe that he is a civilian police officer. I was filming civilian police officers who were sitting in a bar opposite Toptani, the person got up and asked me why he was filming and took a knife out of his pocket from the ones that open. He tried to hit me. Some civilians came there and said don't hit the police officers. I will file a report at the prosecutor's office and here for intimidation and at the AMP. I have a photo of the person. The moment there was chaos, they shouted that he was a police officer ," said Progni.
So far, there has been no official reaction from the State Police regarding the allegations raised by the activist.
