Adriatik Lapaj has commented on recent departures from the party, including candidate Azmer Dulević, an electrical engineer who lost his mandate in the Fier district on May 11 by just a handful of votes.
Lapaj said that he does not hold anyone by force, as he responded with the news that new party memberships are being made, including members of the Socialist Party.
He underlined that he has started a tour of thanking voters, starting from Dimali where they received 15% of the votes, the highest figure, as well as in agricultural areas where the party received the most votes. Lapaj denied cooperation with the DP in the future, just as blackmail, threats or bribes from the government do not stop him.
" This is a path of free people. We cannot keep people either by violence or by force. If they think that they will stop me on my way, they are wrong. There is no turning back. Mr. Dulević received 1700 votes, the party received the votes there in Fier, 9 thousand votes, there are also votes from other candidates. We have new memberships, even from the SP they have come to our party, one is a director in Berat ", said Lapaj.
