Rama participates in the Delphi Forum, Tirana Official "fight" to secure a meeting with the Greek Prime Minister...
The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, is scheduled to visit Greece tomorrow.
According to " To Vima ", he will participate in the Delphi Economic Forum, while he has numerous diplomatic contacts regarding the possibility of a meeting in Athens with Greek Prime Minister, Kyriakos Mitsotakis.
According to reports, both sides have been in constant communication over the past 24 hours to determine whether Mitsotakis' agenda can find a place for an official meeting, as requested by Tirana.
Rama is scheduled to deliver a speech at the Delphi Economic Forum on Wednesday afternoon.
Given that the two leaders will speak at the forum, which will be held at the site of the same name in Delphi, in south-central Greece, within about half an hour of each other, it is seen as the most likely venue for a face-to-face meeting.
Other possible time frames are Tuesday in Athens, after Rama's arrival, or Thursday before his departure, as Mitsotakis will attend an informal EU summit in Nicosia later that day.
As of Monday afternoon, only a brief meeting between the two leaders in Delphi appears to have been confirmed, although efforts are being made to organize a more formal meeting at the Greek Prime Minister's office at the Maximos Mansion. According to Greek media, there are ongoing contacts between the two Foreign Ministries, but nothing official yet.
Relations between Rama and Mitsotakis have had their ups and downs, especially after the arrest of Fredi Beleri. But with the arrival of Feri Hoxha as Foreign Minister, negotiations have begun with Athens on the maritime issue.
