At the last meeting, the Executive Committee of the Albanian Football Association approved the construction of an artificial grass field near the "Martin Cani" museum.
Following the request of the Cani family to the Albanian Football Association and President Armand Duka, the Executive Committee decided to implement this project, which aims not only to preserve the memory of Martin Cani, but also to promote the values of sport and culture as means of education and awareness for the younger generations.
Martin Cani tragically lost his life near the "Fan Noli" school in November 2024, and this event has affected the entire Albanian public opinion.
The football field at the "Martin Cani" museum will have an area of 60 m².
The Albanian Football Association always remains committed to implementing social and awareness-raising projects that positively impact the community and the education of children through sports.
