Skenderbeu U-19 has bid farewell to participation in the UEFA Youth League, being eliminated in the second round by Aston Villa.
After a 1-1 draw in the first leg in Korça, the red-and-white team was hoping to pull off a miracle in the return leg. But the situation there was completely different, as Aston Villa dominated from the first minute to the last with ease.
Four goals in the first half made it clear the course of the match and qualification, while the English scored twice more in the second half, closing the challenge with the score 6-0 to advance to the next round of the tournament where they will face AZ Alkmaar.
