Sensational news comes from Russia regarding the possibility of organizing Euro 2032 if Italy is stripped of the right to host the most important European competition.
The President of the Russian Football Federation, Alexander Dyukov, has announced that his country is ready to host the 2032 European Championship instead of Italy, with the Apennine country having the issue of stadiums as its main problem at this point.
'Russia is ready to host Euro 2032 instead of Italy,' Alexander Dyukov told Russian portal Sport.ru when asked what would happen if Italy lost the right to host the major continental tournament.
Meanwhile, the Russian portal notes that UEFA has so far approved 10 proposed stadiums, while the entire tournament could be entrusted to Turkey, which is Italy's co-organizer of the European Championship that will be held in 7 years.
