Shakira was one of the most prominent names of the 2026 World Cup final, attracting attention not only with her musical performance, but also with the spectacular outfit created especially for this evening.
The Colombian singer took to the stage at the "New York New Jersey" stadium wearing an exclusive costume created by the fashion house Roberto Cavalli, under the artistic direction of designer Fausto Puglisi.
The outfit consisted of a bodysuit covered in more than 200,000 Swarovski crystals and a fringed skirt in shades of yellow and pink, inspired by the "Ray of Sunset" model, an interpretation of the Italian brand's famous "Ray of Gold" concept.
According to Roberto Cavalli, the realization of this creation required around 120 hours of craftsmanship and more than two weeks to complete every detail, turning it into one of the most special evening dresses.
In her performance, Shakira was accompanied by 34 dancers, who also wore costumes designed by Roberto Cavalli, with colors inspired by sunsets.
The artist performed the song "Dai Dai" alongside Burna Boy as part of the musical program of the 2026 World Cup final.
The evening was also enriched with performances by well-known names in international music, including Madonna, BTS and Justin Bieber, in an approximately 11-minute show curated by Chris Martin, the vocalist of the band Coldplay.
The final was played between Argentina and Spain, with the Spanish triumphing 1-0, lifting the World Cup trophy for the second time in history.
