Jennifer Lopez feels humiliated and betrayed, after breaking up with Ben Affleck.
A source tells Page Six that the Latin star feels humiliated by her boyfriend's behavior, as he was the first to make the move to get back together and is now ruining their marriage.
"She is furious. She feels that he humiliated her. He was the one who wanted them to reunite and be together," says the source.
The actor and singer revealed they were back together in July 2021, shortly after Lopez split from Alex Rodriguez. The couple were together from 2002 to 2004 and split up just before they walked up the church steps to say their vows.
"Lopez thinks he humiliated her because he convinced her that she is the love of his life and made him think that their relationship is the most important thing," says the source.
In addition, the source emphasized that Lopez is very upset as this situation also affects their children.
"There are five children involved in this. He knew they would reunite their families. He hasn't fully accepted that it's over," she says.
The source revealed that Affleck, for his part, is delaying filing for divorce, as he is trying to get her out of a difficult position and not cause her any more stress. "Affleck is very protective of her," the source closes.
