The First Lady of the United States of America, Melania Trump, has attracted public attention after sharing an excerpt from her book "Melania", published on October 8, 2024, which immediately became a bestseller on Amazon and the "New York Times".
In a video posted on the X platform, the wife of the American president recalls the first moment she met Donald Trump, sparking numerous reactions on social media.
The meeting took place during New York Fashion Week in 1998, at the Kit Kat club, where Melania was after a tiring trip from Paris.
At the urging of a friend, she agreed to go out that evening, not knowing that she would face a meeting that would change her life.
In the book, Melania confesses that Trump immediately impressed her with his charm and the attention he paid to her.
Although he was accompanied by another woman that night, she felt an immediate connection:
"I felt like I was at the center of his world."
Her post sparked emotions and discussions online, for the sincerity of the story and the way it describes the beginning of her relationship with Donald.
At the same time, an interview of hers from 1999 has also begun to circulate again, where Melania responded to critics who implied that her relationship with Trump was for material interests.
"You can't hug or talk to a house or a car. If you're with someone, you should feel complete," she declared at the time.
Melania and Donald Trump married in 2005 and are parents to a son, Barron Trump, born in 2006. Her latest post is seen as a way to reaffirm their relationship and her role in public life, at a time when interest in the Trump family remains high.
