At a time when sedentary lifestyles are increasingly causing obesity, fitness instructor Erik Birko was on "Live From Tirana" to provide advice and debunk some myths.
One of them is that it is thought that sexual intercourse burns a lot of calories.
"During sexual intercourse, a lot of calories are burned, myth or truth?" the moderator asked.
"Myth. They burn very little. I don't know how much, but they burn a little," said the instructor, adding:
"Because you're not just getting on the track and sprinting. You're in bed. Even when you're untrained, you get caught and cramp up and many times you block that act. You have to train so you don't have cramping. If it were true, half of Albania would be like a stick... Walk as much as you feel good about, it's important. 6000 steps a day, keep it as a standard."
