Tensions flared in a Manhattan federal courtroom on the 15th day of Diddy's high-profile trial, with a woman angrily interrupting proceedings by insulting and yelling at the famous music producer. The woman's identity remains unknown, but her presence in the courtroom caused panic as she began yelling about "the system" shortly before the judge ordered her removal by court officers.
Among other things, she told Diddy: “Diddy, these bastards are laughing at you!” Sean Combs, wearing a brown sweater over a white shirt, turned and looked at the woman as she continued her attack. Shortly before the explosion, security guards were heard warning her: “Don’t do it.”
The incident occurred shortly before Eddy Garcia, a private security guard at the luxury InterContinental Hotel in Los Angeles, testified, where Diddy was caught on video brutally beating his then-partner, Cassie Ventura, on March 5, 2016.
Diddy faces charges of human trafficking, sexual assault and participation in a criminal organization, as prosecutors allege that the 55-year-old rapper and businessman had built an entire criminal network around sexual exploitation and violence against women.
