According to the latest update from the Central Election Commission, turnout in the parliamentary elections has reached 7.98 percent as of 11:00.
Out of more than 2 million citizens with the right to vote, 156,474 people have voted so far.
Pristina leads in terms of the number of citizens who exercised their right to vote, with 24,948 voters. It is followed by Prizren with 11,355 voters, Ferizaj with 10,987, Peja with 9,313, Gjilan with 9,111, Gjakova with 8,893, South Mitrovica with 6,703 and Vushtrri with 6,237 voters.
The electoral process is taking place in 949 voting centers and 2,550 polling stations throughout the territory of Kosovo. According to reports so far, voting is proceeding normally and without significant problems.
