Rama in delirium: Negotiations with the EU are not like walks on the lawn, there
Edi Rama

Prime Minister Edi Rama stated today that negotiations with the European Union have not stalled, while the country is at a key moment in relation to integration.

Rama stated that there is no blockage in the negotiations, which are a process that is proceeding according to the set agenda.

The Head of Government also stated that today in Albania more corruption is being fought, which is why there is more talk about it. But according to the Prime Minister, this does not mean that there is more corruption in Albania than ever before. In fact, the Head of Government stated that those who speak like this are already divided.

" The perception of the public administration has been quite burdened by judgments and has certainly been triggered by behaviors, actions, and acts that have sometimes been exposed publicly. But it must be said that it has faced a test, an extraordinary exam, throughout the entire negotiation process so far."

But the negotiation process is moving forward successfully and this is also thanks to this administration. Thanks to this administration, despite the problems that are not lacking, the country grows and develops every day. Today we are in the conditions where we have opened all the chapters.

We have member states facing intermediate milestones that are a key moment for the negotiations and the European Commission has given a positive assessment. There is talk up and down that the negotiations are blocked, but they have no idea what they are talking about.

"Negotiations are not a walk in the park, but they are a continuous test. And this is now a key test, but there is no motive, zero, to talk about a deadlock. We are totally on schedule," Rama said.

The Prime Minister stated that there cannot be increasing corruption and on the other hand, there can be many more winners from the competitions that are opened, just as there cannot be increasing corruption, while in the last two months over 2,200 new businesses have been opened.

"There is only one report that is not based on perceptions or surveys, but is based on 24/7 monitoring, which is the EU report," Rama said.
