Prime Minister Edi Rama, during a meeting with residents about the project in Zvërnec, stated that he has nothing to negotiate with anyone, but that he remains ready for dialogue with citizens.
During the meeting with residents of the area, Rama recalled a previous episode, when according to him, the protesters had rejected dialogue.
"I said that day: 'Who will speak?', you said: 'No, we do not negotiate.' I am the first who does not negotiate, because I have nothing to negotiate with anyone. But there is no discussion about speaking ," the prime minister said.
Rama emphasized that he does not avoid confronting citizens and his opponents, adding that criticism does not influence his decision-making.
"I said that day: 'Who will speak?', you said: 'No, we do not negotiate'. I am the first who does not negotiate, because I have nothing to negotiate with anyone. But there is no discussion about speaking. I told Bruna, don't take people from Vlora with me. I am not afraid to face anyone. They do not make me change my mind and they add to my life. Those who want to get rid of me will have to wait much longer," Rama said.
