An accident resulting in the death of one person was recorded this Friday morning on the national axis Peqin-Elbasan.
The incident occurred at around 10:00 in the village of Përparim, in the territory of the Peqin Municipality. According to preliminary data, a 73-year-old man, whose identity has not yet been made public, was hit by a van while driving on this road segment.
As a result of the collision, the elderly man suffered serious injuries and died at the scene, unable to survive the injuries he sustained.
After the incident was reported, the Police services and the investigation team arrived at the scene of the accident, and began actions to document the incident and fully clarify the circumstances of the accident.
