The new RTSH board of directors seems to be following the same path as its predecessors. Baton Haxhiu's "Voices That Never Die" project, initially rejected, is being put back on the table, while the public television station faces a lack of funds for employees and the possible closure of regional centers.
The RTSH Steering Council has changed, but not the habits. At least that's what sources within the institution claim, who speak of the return of old schemes of favoritism, clientelistic projects, and the distribution of public funds in the hands of a narrow circle of people.
At the center of the debate is the project "Voices That Do Not Die", associated with the name of Baton Haxhiu. According to information, the project was presented at the meeting of the Steering Council on April 7, but was rejected with the argument that the Council does not have the competence to approve such projects.
However, the insistence on its return has not stopped. Sources inform us that the chairman of the Steering Council, Fatjon Hoxhallari, has insisted that the project be given the green light, while the general director, Eni Vasili, is also positioned in the same line.
According to the same sources, the project is expected to be financed with around 50 million lek from RTSH funds.
The debate is not only related to this project. Within the institution, there is talk of a broader practice, where various members of the Governing Council submit projects through third parties and relatives, while public funds end up in networks connected to the decision-makers themselves.
RTSH is returning to the same model that led to the dismissal of the previous council by Parliament.
The paradox becomes even greater when looking at the institution's financial priorities.
Employees complain about low salaries. Overtime is not paid. Per diems and funds for journalistic activity are lacking. In some sectors there is talk of drastic cuts and savings.
Meanwhile, RTSH finds hundreds of millions of lek for festivals, special projects and questionable contracts.
The spring festival alone, according to information provided, has consumed about 300 million lek. The list of beneficiaries is long. A guest is accommodated with 500 euros per night in a hotel. The festival director, who according to sources is the son of the deputy chairman of the Steering Council, benefits about 3.5 million lek for two nights of activity. Other festival directors also receive payments that run into millions of lek.
While millions more are being distributed for projects and festivals, RTSH is discussing the closure or shrinking of regional centers in Shkodër, Korçë, Kukës and Gjirokastër, with the argument that there is no money.
This is the question that many public television employees are asking today: how is it possible that there is no money for journalism, for regional centers, and for employees, but there is money for privileged projects and for the next clientele?
So far, there has been no official reaction from RTSH to these allegations. But silence does not diminish the questions. On the contrary, it makes them even stronger.
Because when public television fails to justify how it spends taxpayers' money, the problem is no longer just financial. It becomes a problem of public trust./ Pamphlet

Nje fjale goje eshte mbyllni RTSH-ne, nese eshte si thuhet me larte, te meren masat per fajtoret dhe me pas me pune te vazhdohet perpara. Sa per arkivin, televezionet e tjera e kam bere cope, i intereson qe mos ngreje koke!
Jo mor jo, nuk duhet mbyllur RTSH, por duhet gjetur nje njeri vizionar, me ide te qarta, qe me njerzit e duhur dhe qe duke mos e pas mendjen per te vjedhur ta udheheqe kete institucion. Dmth sic eshte Eni Vasili...komplet e kunderta! Pastaj duhet nje Keshill Drejtues me njerez te ndershem qe te thone po dhe jo kur duhet dhe jo kur ti kerkohet. Njerez qe skane djemte e vajzat ne pune ne RTSH, qe skane interesa tenderash, projektesh. Jo keshilltare te tredhur qe dhe kur jane kunder te mos mungojne ne mbledhje, por te kene kurajon qe te shkojne dhe te vendosin firmen kunder. Parate jane, studiot jane, stafi eshte...per momentin, se spastrimet mbi profesionistet nuk kane te mbaruar. 300 milion festivali i pranveres, cdo gje e bere me Studio jashte RTSH. Turp i madh sepse RTSH i ka te gjithe kapacitetet ta beje vete te pakten Festivalin e Pranveres. Por duan vetem te vjedhin kermat!
S'e ka keq ai që propozon mbylljen. Mbyllja frenon vrullin e vjedhjeve dhe hatërlléqeve pa fund aty. Le të rrijë nonjë vit i mbyllur. Të largohen parazotët që të kuptojnë vlerën e punës pasi ca aty kanë nga 30-40 vjet që rrinë kot. Të shikohet çfarë boshllëku krijon tvsh, mqse krijon. Pastaj të konceptohet një TV i ri.
Nuk e kuptoj si mund te jesh nenkryetar keshilli dhe gjithe projektet ja jep djalit! Sa kurajo qe kane! Vetem ne RTSH-ne e Vasilit dhe Hoxhallit ndodh kjo! A thu se ska regjisore te tjere RTSH, keni Saren, Lulin, Mandin etj shume me te talentuar por jane pa ze se e dine se si funkionon sistemi. Por peshku sidomos ne RTSH eshte qelbur nga koka! Dhe ska Mirande qe ja heq eren.
Do behet resort te TVSH e ka ber planin ustai se sbën kot si i mërzitur! E mer lepurush si do ma kapesh sapunin

Ik moj plehre! Se kujtove se u bere pronare e RTSH! Kujtove se more fatin e njerezve ne dore! Palaço drejtoreshe! Qe mezi pret RTSH te marri fryme, se je bere si semundje e keqe aty! Nuk bere asgje, asnje shenje, asnje pune, asnje kontribut! Vetem arrogance, paaftesi ne menaxhim, heqje profesionistesh nga puna, perdorim i Festivaleve dhe aktiviteteve te RTSH per perfitim personal, vure kushurinjte dhe shoket e vellait si polici ushtarake, solle te paafte si vetja jote dhe i bere drejtore e pergjegjsa, qe do mbahesh mend vetem qe ndryshove modelin e flokeve. Je femër e keqe prandaj largohu
Sa per Baton Haxhiun e shoke ua paguan Beogradi parate. Me thoni sa gazetare, analiste e korrespondenta jane punesuar ne Kosove? Asnje. Po ju pse i pranoni keta qe mbajne tere diten ne goje cimcakezin e Beogradit.
Me taksat tona paguhen rrugaçet hajdute dhe spiunet antishqipar. Turp I zi per kete shtet bandash hajdute dhe kriminele. .
Batoni per terezi e ka. Po kjo Vasili qe kujton se do e shpetoje dashnori, po nuk e shpeton dot as ai, se ai sdi ku te perplaset per vete qe mos ta marri SPAK-u brenda. Qe shume shpejt do shkoj per lesh dhe ai! Po ju vjen fundi! Po kur do te shkoje dhe ambasadore?! Ambasadorja e k...!
