In the last 24 hours, a total of 13 fires have been recorded across the country.
According to the Ministry of Defense, 10 fires are currently active and 3 others are under monitoring.
Bulqizë Municipality: In the village of Tërnova, Zerqan administrative unit, the fire continues to develop in the crown of dense forests from the mountain pass towards the Old Bulqizë town. 8 Bulqizë MZSH officers, 7 municipal forces, 8 forestry forces and 30 military forces of the Armed Forces are engaged in the operation today. The fire is developing in high forests and dense vegetation, heading from the village of Valikardhe. The presence of smoke is high and the intensity of the flames remains strong. The homes are not at risk. An Air Force helicopter has also operated at the scene. Active
Bulqizë Municipality: The fire that broke out on 14.08.2025 in Malin me Gropa, near the village of Val, continues to be active. Municipality of Fushë Arrëz: In the village of Xeth, Blerim administrative unit, work continues to extinguish the fire. The operation involved: 12 firefighters with 2 fire engines, 6 police officers with 2 vehicles, 40 municipal forces, 13 forest service forces and 80 military forces. The fire is active in 3 separate areas, while in the Kunorë Dardhë area towards the Truen River, the flames have entered an area with dense pine trees. An Air Force helicopter has also operated. Mirditë Municipality: In the village of Velë, Rubik administrative unit, a fire continues in a pine forest. 3 firefighting vehicles with 7 MZSH personnel, 17 municipal forces, 10 volunteers, 7 forestry forces and 4 police forces have been engaged. The terrain is steep and intervention from the ground remains very difficult. Active
Municipality of Tirana: In “Mali i Bërzhitës”, Ibë village, the fire that broke out on 10.08.2025 has spread to the village of Durisht. 3 firefighting vehicles with 12 Tirana MZSH personnel, 5 APR forces and police forces have been deployed on the ground. Gramsh Municipality: In the villages of Kullollas, Kodovjat and Ermenj, Skënderbegës administrative unit, fires have been reactivated. In Kullollas, in the place called Mulliri, municipal employees and volunteers are intervening, while in the village of Bletëz, 1 fire engine of the Gramsh MZSH with 3 employees is operating. Active
Gramsh Municipality: In the Kukur administrative unit, in Teke e Dushkut, small fires are occasionally activated. Today, 1 fire truck with 5 Gramsh MZSH employees, 2 forest forces and 10 residents have been operating until 12:00. The difficulties are due to the thickness of the humus. Active
Elbasan Municipality: In the administrative unit of Zavalinë, in the Shiroka Mountain, the fire is still active. 6 Elbasan MZSH officers, 9 forestry company employees and 6 municipal forces are engaged in the field. Active
