The situation in the protest taking place in front of the Parliament has escalated.
Police used water cannon and pepper spray in an attempt to disperse the crowd, while protesters responded by throwing eggs, tomatoes and water bottles at the officers.
As a result of the intervention, several citizens experienced breathing problems, while one man felt unwell and needed help.
Another protester was injured by a stone in the head and was urgently transported to the ambulance to receive medical attention.
As he was pulled out of the crowd, the young man called on the protesters not to retreat, conveying the message: "Don't give up!"
The clashes began after demonstrators attempted to break through the police cordon to approach the Parliament building. As a result, the situation escalated, and police forces intervened to prevent the protesters from entering the institution.
Two water tankers have been deployed to the scene, which are being used to clear the blocked road segments. Despite the intervention of the water trucks, citizens are putting up strong resistance and refusing to leave the square and surrounding boulevards, keeping the situation extremely tense.
The situation in front of the Parliament continues to remain tense, with clashes between protesters and police forces, while emergency teams are also engaged in the field.
