Shkruar nga PamfletiOver 1,500 police forces are engaged in today's protest, having formed cordons throughout the area surrounding Parliament.
Five people have been arrested so far following clashes between protesters and police near the Namazgja Mosque. Among those arrested is one of the members of the protest organizing group, Arben Kola.
Kola is grabbed by 4 police officers who are holding him by the arms and legs, while Kola still has the megaphone in his hand.
Their escort came after the protesters, due to the blockade set up by the State Police in front of the Parliament, changed the route of the rally, marching initially on "Dëshmorët e Kombit" Boulevard and then towards the Grand Ring Road.
Protesters are positioned near the intersection of Elbasan Street, where the first police escorts took place during today's protest.
So far, the reasons for the escorting of the two people have not been made known, and there has not yet been an official reaction from the State Police regarding this action.
Meanwhile, the protest continues in the area, while numerous police forces are engaged in managing the situation. Over 1,500 police forces are engaged in today's protest, who have formed cordons throughout the area around Parliament.
