The citizens' march has begun on the streets of Tirana, after the end of the speeches and articulation of demands in front of the Prime Minister's Office building.
Even though 53 days have passed since the protests began, citizens have not given up and continue to follow the same protest plan as on the first day. The rally starts at Skanderbeg Square, then the protesters march towards the Prime Minister's Office, where various citizens and activists articulate their demands, to then continue the protest with a march on various streets of the capital.
During the march, protesters chanted slogans such as: "Edi Rama, resign", "Down with the patronageists", "Illiterate Parliament", "Albania seeks revolution", "Rama goes away" and "We will not stop", while calling for as many citizens as possible to join the protest.
Meanwhile, protesters have warned that the protest will continue tomorrow. They are expected to gather at 08:30 in front of the Albanian Parliament, at the same time as the plenary session, to continue their opposition to the government and articulate their demands.
