The football market is full of "rumors" and one of them comes from Brazil. According to the media, Inter are following Robinho Junior, the 18-year-old son of former Milan and Real Madrid striker Robinho. According to the portal "UOL", the young talent of Santos has used the Christmas holidays to visit Italy and visit the facilities of the black and blue club.
Inter - Robinho Junior, the numbers
Inter's management, interested in him for a year, are said to have tried to make a concrete move in January, offering a considerable sum of €22m in total (€18m fixed plus €4m in bonuses). However, this offer has not yet been accepted by Santos.
The Brazilian club has rejected the offer, postponing any discussions until next summer, when they will be forced to assess the possibility of selling the player (whose contract expires in 2027) to the highest bidder.
Robinho Junior is not convinced about Inter
Not only that, but Robinho Jr himself first wants to understand if this is the right time to leave Brazil and would certainly like to play in his homeland for at least the first half of the year. Therefore, Inter have proposed buying him immediately and then leaving him at Santos until June, but neither Santos nor the player's circle (and family) are convinced that this is the right solution.
We recall that the father of Robinho Junior, the former Real Madrid and Milan striker, is serving a nine-year prison sentence in Brazil after being part of a group that raped a 23-year-old Albanian girl in Milan in 2013.
