Actor Steven Seagal, who has been a Russian citizen since 2016, has just presented his latest documentary entitled "In the Name of Justice". The star of action films, among others, also talks about the war between Russia and Ukraine, where he says that he is ready to give his life for the Russian president, Vladimir Putin.
Steven Seagal moved to Russia some time ago. The actor has severed all relations with the USA, where, among other things, he will have to pay heavy fines for financial and tax violations and where he risks criminal prosecution for accusations of sexual violence.
With pro-Moscow propaganda, he won the role of "Special Representative" for culture. In the documentary "In the name of justice", the actor also visited the territories occupied by the Russian armed forces and even reached the city of Mariupol. Seagal also wrote a letter to Putin, as shown in a clip: “Now we will see who are our countrymen and our friends and who are our enemies. I will always stand by my president and fight alongside him. I am ready to die, if necessary."
It's no secret that Steven Seagal has created a lot of feuds with other action movie actors. One of them is Jean-Claude Van Damme. This enmity with the Belgian prevents Seagal from being part of a film "The Expendables", a saga created by Sylvester Stallone as a tribute to the stars of action films.
Seagal, in these films there are people he doesn't like, referring to familiar faces like Jean-Claude Van Damme himself and producer Avi Lerner. In a 2014 interview with The Big Issue, and with The Expendables 3 soon to be released, Seagal revealed why he has never appeared in a film of the Stallone-created blockbuster.
