Berat Gjimshiti could end his adventure at Atalanta. A surprise departure from the Bergamo club is expected for the Albanian defender.

Gjimshiti is considered one of the pillars of the Atalanta team, a team that bought his card nearly a decade ago and, after several loans, he began to become a key player since the 2018-2019 edition.
At 32, this could be the last big contract of his career and the star from Lugina e Presevo is seriously considering it as an alternative. Given that his contract with the Blues expires next summer, the club is considering selling him to benefit financially.
A move to the Middle East would represent a radical change in the defender's life and footballing culture. Something that would be compensated by a salary significantly higher than the 800,000 euros he currently earns in Serie A.
