After a long silence and lack of official information, international media have recently returned to the health status of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher.
Just a few days after commemorating the 25th anniversary of his first world title with Ferrari, renowned French journalist for "L'Équipe", Stéphane L'Hermit has shared some new data that could constitute one of the most significant signals about the former champion's health.
In a radio interview, L'Hermit said that information remains scarce and unclear, but one recent detail has sparked hope: an autographed helmet of Michael Schumacher donated to charity. " How is it possible that he signed it? Did his wife hold his hand? We are not sure, but it is the first time in many years that we have such a positive signal, almost a sign of life ," said the journalist.
However, he stressed that there is still no concrete information on Schumacher's physical condition. According to him, the 7-time Formula 1 World Champion continues to not communicate verbally and has not been seen walking, adding that his interaction with his family remains limited.
" I wouldn't say he's doing well, but maybe he's doing a little better, " L'Hermit added, stressing that the only reliable source of information on Schumacher remains his family, who have chosen to maintain absolute privacy since the tragic accident in December 2013.
Michael Schumacher's condition continues to remain one of the greatest mysteries of the modern sporting world, with millions of fans awaiting any sign of hope from their hero.
