Message to the national team players
I'm noticing a big difference in your public statements before the match with Serbia. It seems like you've been trained well to be very careful about the words you say or the posts you make on social media.
I know it's not easy to organize the European Championship with Serbia and you, representing the people of Albania, remain silent.
You should know that the match with Serbia is not just a football match. Just 2 months ago, they were hindered by our presence. 2 months ago, they removed the Kosovo flag from the Belgrade congress and burned it. So, Serbia is hindered by the existence of Albanians. Serbia dreams and plans every day to make Kosovo - Serbia.
At the European Championship in Germany, the eagle symbol I made was the reason I was expelled. That eagle didn't stop anyone, except the Serbs. So, we are in a time when if you proudly show that you are Albanian, you are punished. So I appeal to you, not to be afraid to show that you are Albanian.
Celebrate freely with the eagle if you score a goal. You don't have to be afraid of punishment. UEFA shouldn't punish us for showing our identity.
Armand Duka should tell UEFA that the eagle is not a criminal act.
Don't forget that victories in such matches are remembered for years and generations. Players who score goals against Serbia are never forgotten.
Who can forget the goals of Granit Xhaka and Xherdan Shaqiri?
