The split between Lamine Yamal and Argentine singer Nicki Nicole, after just 67 days of dating, has become a viral topic on social media. Speculations of alleged infidelity have immediately begun, especially on the part of the Barcelona star.
"We are no longer together, but the separation did not happen because of any betrayal. It simply ended. Everything that is being said has no connection to reality. I have not been unfaithful, nor with anyone else," Yamal said in a conversation with journalist Javier Hoyos, dismissing rumors of betrayal.
On the other hand, Nicki Nicole confirmed the split, supporting her former partner's statement:
"We haven't been together for a few days, since I left Barcelona. I'm only clarifying this because of the rumors of betrayal. If someone had betrayed me, I would have said it myself. I don't want to deal with this issue anymore."
Meanwhile, Argentine media have revealed new details about the singer's life after the split. According to journalist Angel de Brito, Nicki Nicole was seen partying with popular content creator Mernuel, part of the duo "Mernosketti."
A witness cited by de Brito said that the singer and the "YouTuber" spent the whole night together and left together. This detail has further fueled rumors of a new closeness in the artist's life, although neither Nicki nor Mernuel have publicly reacted to this.
The story of the Yamal–Nicole couple, which began with much fanfare, seems to have finally come to an end, as both are looking to leave the controversy behind and focus on their careers.
