Shkëndija writes history. The Red and Blacks of Tetovo have qualified for the third qualifying round of the Champions League, after winning the return match against Steaua Bucharest, with a score of 1-2. The match was played at the “Arena National” in Bucharest. The Macedonians also secured the groups of a European competition for this season.
The home team took the lead through Tisoti in the 28th minute, but the Rossoneri's reaction came very quickly, equalizing five minutes later with Liridon Latifi, who scored after a corner kick.
The first half ended in a 1-1 draw. In the second half, Shkëndija not only resisted, but in the 78th minute had a fantastic chance to score the second goal, but Besart Ibrahimi made it as difficult as possible with only the goalkeeper in front.
