Egli Tako has been embroiled in an unexpected debate after a statement made during a concert at a nightclub in Peja. During the performance, where he also sang the iconic song "Mora fështe" by Shkurte Fejza, Egli loudly exclaimed in front of the audience:
"Are there Albanians in Kosovo, or are you only Kosovars?"
The statement, which appears to have been made spontaneously, touched on a sensitive topic that continues to spark debate in Albanian society: the issue of national identity between Albanians in Albania and those in Kosovo.
This dilemma has often appeared in the media, social networks, and even in television formats like Big Brother, where the "Albanian or Kosovar" debate has created divisions and clashes among public opinion.
Despite the reactions online, during the concert, Egli continued his performance without incident and was enthusiastically received by the audience in Peja.
