World-famous rapper Sean 'Diddy' Combs has been arrested on charges of sexual assault and human trafficking.
Diddy was placed in handcuffs by Homeland Security on Monday, September 16 at the Park Hyatt hotel in Manhattan.
"We are disappointed in the decision to proceed with what we believe to be a wrongful arrest of Mr. Combs from the US Attorney's Office," Combs' attorney Mark Anifilo told CNN.
He further stated that Combs has cooperated with US authorities and voluntarily moved to New York last week pending these charges.
His team maintains his innocence and says he has "nothing to hide".
Some time ago, the rapper accepted the accusations that he raped his girlfriend in 2016, in a hotel in Los Angeles. An event which became viral after a video published on social networks.
"My behavior in that video is inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video. I felt disgust when I did it. I'm very sorry, but I'm committed to being a better person every day." , Combs said after the video was released.
