After being excluded from the race for the leadership of the Democratic Party, Evi Kokalari has made a public call for a boycott of the electoral process in the DP, describing it as a farce organized by Sali Berisha and other party leaders.
Through a reaction on social media, Kokalari asked Democrats not to participate in the vote, as according to her, the membership vote has no real value.
She accused Berisha and MP Albana Vokshi of seeking the participation of the Democrats only for "face and eyes," while the decisions were made in advance.
"Democrats: BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT, BOYCOTT. These elections are worthless and will be confirmed as such very soon ," writes Kokalari.
Kokalari also published several WhatsApp conversations, which he claims show how the names that would be voted for the party leadership in the 2022 elections were determined in advance.
"Berisha and Vokshi only want you there for show. Even for the presidential elections, the lists were determined in advance ," she declares.
Kokalari states that since 2021 he has supported change and the opening of the Democratic Party, but emphasizes that every electoral process within the party has been manipulated.
The activist warned that her battle will continue through legal channels, noting that the first court hearing on her case will be held on Monday. In conclusion, Kokalari called on the Democrats not to give legitimacy to the process.
"Don't give legitimacy to this farce. You deserve much more than that ," Kokalari's reaction concludes.
