Democratic Party MP Dashnor Sula spoke about the situation within the opposition after the vote recount was completed, emphasizing that three main groupings have already crystallized within the DP.
According to Sula, former Prime Minister Sali Berisha remains exempt from any responsibility for the allegations of vote buying, emphasizing that he has always had a clear approach and political acumen.
"I am convinced that with this recount, Berisha silently challenged those who claimed that their votes were taken away, but also those who have lobbies within the DP. He is clear about who the people who pull the strings in the party are ," Sula said on the "Off the Record" show on "A2CNN".
He revealed that, according to conversations with his colleagues, three groups have formed within the Democratic Party: Gazment Bardhi's group, the group of those who have traditionally been with Mr. Berisha, and a third group of young people who already have a significant vote base.
Sula also emphasized that there are figures in the DP who have never had the ambition to oppose Berisha, while underlining that not all elements within the party are engaged behind the scenes.
"There are elements within the DP that do not do background work. This is the truth ," the DP MP concluded.
