The next hearing for the 'Golden Bullet' case is taking place at the GJKKO, as one of the defendants, Agim Gini, is giving his statements before the jury. Agim Gjini is giving explanations for the murder of Elvis Dedaj in 2012 and his mother Fatmira Dedaj a year later in Durrës.
Gjini says that he worked at the gas station that was owned by Elvis and Festim Qoli. The latter is suspected of ordering the murder of his partner. Agim Gjini says that the relationship between Elvis and Festim was good and that the only disagreement they had was about a girl.
Among other things, he says that Fatmira took care of the boys and that he has no idea who might have killed her. Gjini says that he met with Festim after Elvis' murder, and that he was afraid that they would kill him.
Agim Gjini: I was a supplier at a gas station on the outskirts of Shkozet. Festim Qoli hired me, I met him at school when I was 8 years old. I knew Elvis Dedjan, Festim and I were friends. Elvis was a partner with Festim, the manager was Kujtim Hasa. While I was working at the gas station, there was a quarrel over a girl between Festim and Elvis. Elvis was called "Loshi", he worked with all kinds of things. With drugs.
I heard about the murder of Elvis Dedja at the gas station, the police came and arrested me. I met with Festim Qoli after Elvis' murder, a few days after the event. Festim Qoli was called to the police about this matter. I knew Fatmira Habil, Elvis' mother, I met her, I made her a gift and she made us one. She rarely came to the gas station. Fatmira did not tell me where she suspected her son's murder. She lived with Festim, they had good relations. Elvis had a BMW. Festim Qoli was the owner of the business together with Elvis. The relations between them were very good.
They didn't get along just because of the woman's job. She didn't want Elvis to take her because Festimi had gone with her. I don't know who killed her. The day the incident happened, I had a disgruntled father who passed away a few days later, I was mostly at the supermarket buying groceries to take to the bar. The gas station also had a bar, I bought coffee water... then the police arrested me. Kujtim Hasa worked at the bar, there were other employees too, I don't remember their names. The murder happened in Mali i Robi, I didn't go to the scene. I found out about the incident within half an hour.
I had met both the victim and Festim at the gas station. Petrit Qoli came to the gas station and we met every day. They accompanied me on the day of the incident and questioned me at the police station. They took our fingerprints, took our testimony and that was it. I met Festim after the murder, we talked about the incident. He was afraid of what happened, he was worried that he might kill someone too. Festim also went to the police station to be questioned. To this day, I have had good relations with Festim, before I was arrested. After the murder of Fatmira Deda, I saw Festim in a Lincoln type vehicle.
