Nearly three decades after her death, Princess Diana is still in the hearts and minds of many. A new documentary will reveal new details about her death in 1997.
In a new documentary series, "Who Killed Diana", the circumstances of the princess's death at the age of 36 will be dealt with. The team has promised rare interviews with key sources and will "shed light on a case that has captured the world's attention for decades" and still holds mysteries.
"Who Killed Diana?" will be the first episodes of the series that will focus on iconic figures and examine "the human stories and historical context of these issues." The series was created by the same team that made "Who Killed Jill Dando" and "The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe".
It is not known when the release date of the series will be, but it will be divided into three parts.
"Exploring legendary women through investigative journalistic documentaries is a passion of mine," said producer Emma Cooper. "Just like we did with 'The Mystery of Marilyn Monroe,' we've taken a story the world thought it knew and uncovered hidden truths. I am determined to approach this beloved and iconic woman with new perspectives, new voices and untold details."
Diana died in a car accident in Paris. With her was her boyfriend Dodi Al Fayed and the driver, Henri Paul.
