Legendary British band Oasis, who made their mark on music with hits like "Wonderwall" and "Don't Look Back in Anger," announced Tuesday they are reuniting for a tour, ending a long period apart. The tour will start on July 4, 2025 in Wales and will end on August 17 in Dublin.
"In the end, this is the truth. It's happening," the band announced in a social media post.
Oasis broke up in 2009, after years of infighting between brothers Liam and Noel Gallagher, when the latter left the group minutes before a performance at a festival near Paris.
"A bunch of people will write and say what they want, but I just couldn't go on working with Liam one more day," Noel wrote at the time, marking the end of a painful era for him.
Although the brothers have not performed together since the split, they have continued to perform Oasis songs in their solo concerts. In 2019, Liam had expressed his desire to reunite the group, emphasizing that for him the relationship with his brother was more important than making money.
This tour could be an opportunity for Oasis to reunite and revive the spirit of their music, leaving the past behind and providing an unforgettable experience for their fans.
