The Democratic Party MP has reacted regarding the opening of Albania's group chapters with the EU.
During her speech at today's parliamentary session, Vokshi accused the majority of deliberately excluding the opposition from the European integration process, violating the Constitution and the rules of procedure of the Assembly.
Vokshi called for the parliament to be put on constitutional track and denounced the dissolution of the Integration Commission as a step that undermines inclusiveness, which is one of the main EU criteria.
The Democratic MP accused the majority of fearing the opposition's involvement in the integration process:
"A narco-parliament where the banas have their representatives over 20 MPs, in a country where the prime minister has more power than Hoxha had, he has over 95% power, the parliament is like an oasis where there is also an opposition. We demand inclusiveness. Even in the integration process, when there are political criteria, it is inclusiveness, the proper functioning of the parliament", said the democratic MP.
