DP MP Kreshnik Çollaku declared that the internal war has massacred the Democratic Party. He said that only Sali Berisha truly wanted unification and called for a "great rostrum" for all Democrats.
Çollaku stressed that the May 11 elections were a farce and the failure was predictable. According to him, the DP has no future without a deep analysis and radical change.
"On May 11, we failed for many factors. There is an electoral farce, there is an industry of vote theft for the fourth time in a row. There is an electoral farce, but responsibilities must also be held. The DP must stop this industry of election theft. For the fourth time, the elections are stolen, which means that there is a big problem even within the opposition's conception. A big platform of all democrats is needed. The disease must be cured, egos must be stopped and attention must be paid to the crisis. On May 11, a compromise was made, but there was no unity," Çollaku told "News 24".
