Former Premier League referee gets suspended sentence for having intimate videos with minors

David Coote has been sentenced to 9 months in prison after being found guilty of possessing a sexual video of a minor on his laptop.

The court ruled that he will remain suspended for 2 years. This means that Kut will not go to prison unless he commits another criminal offense.

The 43-year-old appeared for the hearing at Nottingham Crown Court on Thursday, where evidence was also presented.

While police were analyzing Kut's devices between these separate investigations, a two-minute, 11-second video was discovered on his Dell laptop.

Kut was once one of the leading referees in English football. It is worth noting that he had refereed more than 100 Premier League matches and was a FIFA-listed referee.
