Justin Bieber has finally broken his silence amid fans' escalating concerns about his well-being.
The "Baby" singer, 31, shared a heartbreaking post in which he admitted he felt 'fraudulent' and 'unqualified most days' after sparking fears for his health with his unkempt appearance and smoking from a bong on social media.
Thursday's post, which implied that the former child star has imposter syndrome due to his rapid rise to fame, read: "People have told me my whole life 'wow Justin, you deserve this.'"
"And I personally have always felt unworthy, like I was an impostor, like when people told me I deserved something. It made me feel low, like hell, like they only knew my thoughts."
'How judgmental I am, how selfish I really am... They wouldn't say that.
"I say all this to say, if you feel like shit, welcome to the club."
"I definitely feel underequipped and unqualified most days."
Bieber rose to fame when he was just 15 years old after being discovered on YouTube, signing with Usher's record label.
His debut single 'Baby' was released in 2010 and he has since become one of the best-selling music artists of all time, with an estimated 150 million records sold worldwide.
However, speculation about Bieber's health has increased in recent months, after the singer appeared outside looking blank-eyed and wearing strange clothing, prompting his representative to issue a statement denying that he was taking hard drugs.
Despite the concern, the singer and wife Hailey, 28, who have a son Jack Blues, seven months old, have put aside concerns about their relationship by stepping out together on recent outings and also appearing on each other's social media pages.
Earlier this month, on March 1, the singer celebrated his 31st birthday and uploaded a series of photos to Instagram, including one of him and Hailey holding their son Jack.
Another image showed the model sweetly wrapping her arms around her husband as they appeared to sing karaoke.
A few days later, he sparked concern among fans once again when he shared photos of himself smoking from what appeared to be a bong.
