The defense that Albana Osmani made of the Albanian family on the show 'Opinion', expressing that she is against the labeling 'Parent 1', 'Parent 2' and more than 2 genders, seems to have not pleased Arjan Konomi.
The latter has erupted in insults towards moderator Albana Osmani, after her debate with LGBT+ rights activist Xheni Karaj.
Through a video on Instagram, Konomi has insulted Osman with the words 'stupid' and 'idiot'. Not only that, but he goes further, asking the question "What were the burrneshat?!" (Apparently Arjani does not know that burrneshat lived and died virgins. Their role was not to become a woman's lover, but to protect families like the men of that time.)
His reaction has sparked outrage on social media, with many users criticizing him for his low behavior, especially towards a woman.
Many consider this an attempt to attract attention in the most controversial way, reducing his credibility or even to protect the community he belongs to. Others have put it down to the drink or narcotics that Konomi may have used:
"My Albana Osmani, I was so happy to see you on the screen and once you disappeared and we realized you were alive. How beautifully you spoke. Why did they treat you like the most idiotic television personality that has ever existed? And you have such beautiful thoughts about such important things and we have never understood you. But you are not an idiot like we thought you were. Let those who invited you be put to shame, because you are a Tropoja woman.
