Italian athlete Tomas Cecon won gold in the men's 100m backstroke and bronze in the 4×100m freestyle relay, but not everything has gone well for him. Cecon, seeing that the conditions are not right, chose to sleep in the park.
" There is no air conditioning in the village, it is hot, the food is bad. Many athletes move for this reason. It's not an alibi or an excuse, it's the reality of what maybe not everyone knows ," wrote Cecon, who did not hide his annoyance at the way athletes are being treated in Paris for the Olympic Games.
