The Albanian national football team will return to the playing field in September again, this time in the League of Nations, where the Reds and Blacks participate in League B, where they survived in the last edition only because Russia did not participate and automatically fell from the place fourth.
Apparently, relegation is what is in store for this edition, at least according to what the statistics experts predict. According to 10,000 computer simulations of "Football Meets Data", Albania has more chances to finish in fourth place in Group B1 where it participates alongside the Czech Republic, Ukraine and Georgia.
Albania's chances for first place in the group and direct promotion to League A are 12%. Those for second place and participation in the play-offs for promotion to an A League team are 20%. 28% are the chances for the third place and the play-offs for survival in League B against a team from League C. While the chances for the direct relegation to League C for the Reds and Blacks are 41%.
