Shkodra police have arrested one of the people suspected of involvement in the rape of the director of the National Food Authority (AKU) in Shkodra.
The arrested person is Elis Çela, a resident of the "Kiras" neighborhood. According to preliminary investigations, he is suspected of having transported in a vehicle the person who hit the director of the AKU, Ramir Haderi, with a hard object.
Meanwhile, the police have also identified the other suspect as the main perpetrator of the attack. He has been declared wanted and efforts are ongoing to locate and arrest him.
The incident occurred on the evening of May 21 in the "Rus" neighborhood of Shkodra, where Ramir Haderi was attacked by a person, who then fled the scene. As a result of the attack, Haderi suffered an injury to his eyebrow and, after receiving medical attention at the hospital, returned to his apartment.
According to suspicions so far, the attack may be related to his duty. Investigators suspect that the people involved acted in exchange for payment, while the perpetrators of the incident may be other people. The police are continuing their investigations to fully clarify the case.
