An accident resulting in the death of one person was recorded on the Vlora-Fier highway, near Novosela.
According to preliminary data, the victim was suspected of attempting to cross the highway when he was hit by a vehicle traveling on this road.
Due to the strong collision, the person suffered serious injuries and died at the scene. Preliminary sources indicate that the victim is suspected to be a homeless person, while his identity has not yet been officially confirmed.
Immediately after the incident, police services arrived at the scene of the accident, which launched investigations to clarify the full causes and circumstances of the accident, as well as to identify the victim.
