The secret plan for Gaza: American commandos, mercenaries and bought Palestinians...
At the opening ceremony of Donald Trump's so-called Peace Council in Davos, Jared Kushner unveiled his vision for a "new Gaza": skyscrapers, luxury housing complexes and modern infrastructure, a kind of "Middle Eastern Riviera."
But no Palestinians were present at the ceremony, nor were any members of the peace board itself. According to activists and analysts Medea Benjamin and Nicolas Davies, in Kushner's vision, Palestinians are not represented as part of the future, but as having disappeared from reality, buried under the rubble of the real Gaza.
To realize this project, a fundamental question arises: how will the Palestinians be “demilitarized” and “pacified” to pave the way for this urban and political transformation? The assassination of the police chief in Khan Younis in January, while he was driving in Israeli-occupied territory, is seen as an alarming signal.
This was not an isolated incident, but part of a pattern that has begun to unfold: targeted killings by Palestinian militias backed by Israel. In October, another similar incident occurred: an ISIS-affiliated military unit commanded by Yasser Abu Shabab killed Palestinian journalist Saleh Al-Jafarawi.
These moves are part of an old American strategy that is now being repeated: the same one used in Iraq and Afghanistan, where death squads, night raids and “capture-or-kill” missions were presented as operations to bring stability. Now, Gaza seems to have become the next laboratory of this method, under the banner of Trump’s “peace plan”, with potentially catastrophic consequences.
The so-called Gaza Stabilization Force has been named in charge of US General Jasper Jeffers, a former commander of US Special Operations. Jeffers is a veteran of such missions in Iraq and Afghanistan, where US forces responded to local resistance with concentrated violence, massive airstrikes and secret execution structures.
According to Antiwar chroniclers, Jeffers is following the same logic previously used by figures such as the infamous Colonel James Steele, one of those responsible for the formation of death squads in Iraq. Steele had previously implemented the same method in El Salvador and Vietnam as part of the Phoenix program. In Iraq, he operated under the supervision of Steven Casteel, who later headed the Iraqi Ministry of the Interior after the US invasion. Both of these officials had direct ties to Ambassador John Negroponte, another name involved in covert US operations in Latin America and Vietnam.
Just as Steele and Casteel brought their experience from previous wars to Iraq, Jeffers is bringing this approach to Gaza, and he is likely to bring with him other CIA and Special Forces operatives with similar experience. Under his leadership, an international force, the Internal Security Forces (ISF), will be created, which, according to Trump’s plan, will be tasked with maintaining order, supporting the formation of a new Palestinian police force, and overseeing the demilitarization of Gaza.
Jeffers and his team will seek to recruit Palestinians already cooperating with Israel and others from the ranks of former Palestinian Authority police and security forces, in the West Bank or in the diaspora. CIA and JSOC officials are expected to oversee the operations quietly, without exposure. To avoid political accountability, the most brutal raids and operations will be entrusted to private military companies, a practice that has already been tested in Gaza during the distribution of humanitarian aid, when hired mercenaries caused over 1,000 civilian casualties.
The United States has a large reserve of tens of thousands of special operations veterans from Iraq, Afghanistan and other war zones who could be activated for operations in Gaza. Private security companies serve as intermediaries to avoid official US state involvement in these operations. Meanwhile, routine functions such as checkpoints or road control could be delegated to local Palestinian forces.
This whole plan presents a deeply disturbing picture of Gaza's future, not as a zone of peace and development, but as a laboratory for the darkest strategies of control and repression previously tested by the US in other parts of the world. The path to "peace" being offered to the Palestinians may turn out to be more violent than the war itself that is supposed to end. /Adapted from "Pamfleti" by "Piccolenote.it"
After Gaza is the turn of Albania to be emptied and any kind of shit will build and enjoy the land of the people that didn’t know how to hold it.
