Protests against the government and the investment in Zvërnec are spreading to several cities in the country. In addition to Tirana, citizen rallies have also been held in Lezhë, Fushë Krujë and Lushnje, while in the capital the protest has entered its tenth consecutive day, with citizens marching towards the Prime Minister's Office demanding the cancellation of the project and the resignation of the government.
Numerous citizens have gathered in the city center of Lezha, expressing their dissatisfaction with the economic and social situation that, according to them, the country is facing.
During the rally, protesters raised a range of concerns related to the cost of living, immigration, unemployment and economic conditions. They called for the resignation of Prime Minister Edi Rama, whom they hold responsible for the current situation.
With banners in their hands and calls against the government, citizens marched through the city's main streets, while organizers warned that the protests will continue in the coming days.
“They are dividing Albania into pieces,” was the concern articulated today in Fushë Krujë, where some citizens gathered in protest against the government. With flags in their hands and banners against Edi Rama, the protesters, including men, women and children, gave short speeches expressing their dissatisfaction with the political establishment.
